Prospective bidders must complete a registration form and provide identification if required before making a bid at auction. Any person who, nonetheless, makes a bid at a sale will be deemed to have accepted and agreed these Conditions, and the terms of any Notices and other conditions in the catalogue, whether or not they have delivered a completed Registration form. All item(s) are sold as seen, no warranty is given or implied and this includes all faults, imperfections and errors of description. Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested, before the auction takes place. We provide no guarantee to the buyer. Many items are of an age or nature which precludes them being in perfect condition. The catalogue description is for guidance only and does not imply an item is free from defects nor does a reference to a specific defect imply the absence of others. The buyer shall be the highest bidder acceptable to the Auctioneers and the Auctioneers shall have absolute discretion to settle any dispute. The auctioneer has the right to advance the bidding at his absolute discretion and reject any bid, divide any lot, combine any two or more lots, withdraw any lots from the sale, vary the order in which lots are offered for sale and, in the case of error or dispute, put a lot up for bidding again, without in any case giving previous notice or any reason therefore.

Any item(s) purchased atPenny-lane Auctions . is subject to a buyer’s premium of 15% (minimum £1 per lot) on the sale price, VAT is charged on the premium at the applicable rate (all lots are sold subject to the Auctioneers VAT Margin Scheme) and if it’s a VAT applicable item this will be announced by the auctioneer at the time of sale. For items purchased via www.easyliveauction.com (live bidding) there will be an additional charge of either £3.00 or 3% of the hammer price (whichever the bidder chooses), this is in addition to the buyer’s premium. Once the hammer has fallen this is a legally binding agreement of purchase. The customer is then requested to pay for the item(s) in full. No item(s) will leave the auction room until full payment has been received and a member of staff has checked the paid invoice. All items must be removed by the Tuesday after the auction unless other arrangements have been made with Premier Auctions Ltd. Any items not collected will be put into the next sale and a charge to the buyer will be made and this could result in a suspension of their account. All items are sold as seen in their present condition at time of sale. The item(s) becomes the sole responsibility of the buyer and no warranty is given or implied. You are legally agreeing to these terms when you sign for your allocated bidding number.
Any item(s) sold by Penny-lane Auctions. on behalf of the vendor(s) is subject to a sellers premium of 15% and a lotting fee of £1.50 per lot. VAT is charged on the seller’s premium at the applicable rate on the day. VAT may be charged on the item if it is a VAT applicable item. A 1% Insurance fee will also be charged on all items whether sold or unsold.
Payment can be made by the following methods: Cash, Debit card, Credit card (3% Charge on credit cards) Online buyers can either pay for their purchases via card over the telephone, in person at the cash office or via bank transfer. PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT accept online payments via Easy Live Auctions as we do not have the facility for this yet.
Bank transfers are also welcomed.
First time customers with goods over the amount of £250 may be required to pay via bank transfer in efforts to reduce fraudulent card use.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Anyone behaving in an improper manner will be asked to leave and banned from further sales and any serious offenders could face prosecution as we aim to make our auction room a friendly and safe environment for all participants. Penny-lane Auctions . reserve the right at their absolute discretion to refuse admission to their premises or attendance at their sales, without giving any reason therefore.
Penny-lane Auctions. takes no liability for vehicles parked on sale day near and around our business premises.

We have our own in house packaging service. This normally takes up to 2-3 working days to pack and get collected by our couriers or taken to a delivery service. Our courier offers next day delivery on most items so please allow 3-4 working days to reach you.
This is for small to mid size parcels large parcels and pallets if required.

Pallet starts from £40.00 anywhere in the UK
We can deliver large items within England but that would be by quote only.

If you wish to arrange collection by your own courier service please call us and we will be happy to accommodate this.
Any items remaining unpaid for or uncollected will be posted to client at client’s expense.
