Terms and Conditions Please note prompt payment is requested, upon receipt of goods or proforma invoice.
Any invoices not paid after 30 days will incur a late payment charge of 2% per month (i.e. 24% per annum).
Payment can be made by any of the following:
CASH On the auction day or at the shop (please note we do not recommend cash being sent through the post as we cannot be held responsible should it go missing).
CHEQUE On the day or by post. A fee of £20 will be charged for any cheques not honoured by our bank.
CREDIT CARDS We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and debit card only. If you wish to pay by this method, please fill in the relevant section on the bid form. We do not charge a supplement for paying by credit card.
GIRO Our account number is: 31 303 3706. Please notify us when payment is made.
OVERSEAS BUYERS Payment should be made in Pound Sterling £. If payment is made in any other currency, an additional fee of £10 must be added due to bank negotiation charges.
Unpaid invoices may be forwarded to a Debt Collection Agency.
ONLINE BIDDING We offer an online bidding service via easyliveauction.com for bidders who cannot attend the sale.
Please note that any lots purchased via easyliveauction.com live auction service will be subject to an additional 3% commission charge + VAT at the rate imposed on the hammer price or no commission for the internet bidding if the ‘Flat Fee’ has been chosen at registration.
Lots may be collected from our offices in Ely by prior appointment. Please email or call for arrangements.
If you require lots to be shipped, we will undertake that ourselves using a Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ service at cost plus an Insurance fee. Bulky lots will be quoted separately for which we use a DHL ‘Signed For’ Service.
Lots purchased by overseas buyers will ALL be sent by Royal Mail ‘Tracked and Signed’ service at cost plus an Insurance fee. Again, bulky or expensive items will be quoted separately using a DHL Worldwide Service.
