BUYERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All lots are sold to the highest bidder on the fall of the hammer. Commission bids are accepted on a date
received basis. Therefore, if multiple bids of the same amount are left as commission bids on any item, the
bid received on the earliest date will be accepted first.
Buyers Premium 15% + VAT
Payments should be made within 3 days of receipt of invoice.
Please note: Bids placed via the Easy Live website will incur additional charges depending on registration type. Please see Easy Live website for terms.

Bidding Increments
The Minimum bid on any lot is £10. Commission bids entered below £10 will not be accepted.
£10 to £30 - bid increases of £2
£30 to £100 - bid increases of £5
£100 to £300 - bid increases of £10
£300 to £500 - bid increases of £20
£500 to £1000 - bid increases of £25
£1000 and over - bid increases of £50
Descriptions
Nantwich Auctions make every effort to describe all lots offered as accurately as possible. Images of all lots
are available online, and where possible further detailed images and condition reports may be provided on
request. Unsatisfactory lots ie: wrongly described, can be returned within 7 days of receipt, stating the
reason for return. Collections/Bulk lots are non-returnable under any circumstances.
Stamp lots – these may or may or not show all stamps included in the lot. If you need more detailed
information or additional images. Please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Viewing
At present viewing is available by appointment. However we do have to follow all Covid Government
guidelines. If you would like to view, please contact us and we can make the necessary arrangements.
Posting Packaging and Insurance
Packages valued below £50 are despatched using Royal Mail signed for service with tracking information
provided. Packages/parcels valued over £50 are despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery service.
Heavy/Bulk Lots are sent using a courier service. Buyers are responsible for the courier costs.
Currently due to the Covid19 restrictions collection is available by appointment only. Please contact us to
make arrangements.

Selling at Auction
Selling with Nantwich Auctions is easy – just give us a call or email us and we will do the rest. We
always aim to achieve the best possible result for any consigned items. Our acutions are exposed
to a wide audience of potential buyers worldwide.

Payment for Goods
Once your item(s) has sold you will receive an automated email showing the total amount
achieved. The sale proceeds less the vendors commission will be paid in £GBP by direct bank
transfer 4 weeks following the date of the sale.
Descriptions
Nantwich Auctions make every effort to describe all lots offered as accurately as possible. Images
of all lots are available online or by request. If you have supplied a description of your item(s) we
reserve the right to amend any wording that is deemed to be incorrect or misleading in anyway to
any potential buyer.
Unpaid Lots
Any lots sold and not paid for, will be re-entered into the next available auction with the vendors
consent. Any vendor who prefers their items to be returned can contact us to arrange collection or
postal return. Any postal costs are the responsibility of the vendor.
Unsold Items
Any items unsold can be re-entered into the next available auction with the vendors consent.
We advise any unsold lots to be re-entered at a lower agreed reserve price to initiate a sale.
Should you prefer your item returned, contact us to make arrangements within 2 weeks of the sale
ending. Any postal costs are the responsibility of the vendor.
Unlike some auctioneers:
We do not charge a lotting fee
We do not charge an administration fee
We do not charge a photographing fee
We do not charge an insurance fee
We do not charge additional internet fees
We do not charge any additional fees
All you pay is a Vendors premium of 15% (including VAT) of the hammer price

Customs Charges / Handling Fees
From 1 January 2021 importation VAT may be levied by EU countries on lots sold in our auction and mailed to addresses outside the UK.
Items of Numismatic Interest and Collectable Items: Gold or Silver are liable to import duty and this should be taken into consideration before you bid. Nantwich Auctions will not issue refunds for items that are not accepted at their destination, because of any additional charges that may have been added to cover the tax liability.
