Their current timed sale, which ends on May the 2nd has a number of interesting lots included. We take a look at some of these items below, which include some lots of interest to Titanic enthusiasts.
This is one for the collector's who appreciate the difference! No longer produced, the 17-year-old release spent its life in a higher portion of 1st fill Sherry casks, producing a rich, mouth-filling whisky, flavours reminiscent of ripe apples, orange peel, vanilla, pear drops, spicy oak, and a hint of sherry. This is a must-buy for the discerning whisky connoisseurs among us!
This rare clockwork boat no.5066/75 is a constructed of hand japanned tin in largely original finish. The clockwork mechanism is working for the steerable rudder. The item comes complete with it's winding key and measures 75cm in length. This particular item was recently discovered in an attic and is particularly rare, especially in such good working condition as this one.
Of course, White Star Line is well know shipping company who operated the fateful R.M.S Titanic. This particular tureen has a pattern identical to one raised from the wreck of the Titanic and was discovered in an attic along with other White Star Line memorabilia when family cleared the house out. This tureen measure around 26cm in diameter.
Mounted on contemporary velvet-covered board in the form of a star, this item was discovered in the same attic as above with other White Star Line memorabilia. The lot measures 35x35 cm
This reverse glass painting is also mounted on a contemporary velvet star in the shape of a star and was found with the other White Star Line memorabilia in an attic by a family clearing a house.
