1. This live auction is being held by and for the charity Mary’s Meals Ireland, charity no CHY16897, company no 420286, registered charity no 20061920 The online auction platform Easy Live Auction have kindly agreed to host the auction online for us.
2. As this is a charity auction, bidders are asked to enter the spirit of the auction and to bid generoulsy. If you are looking to get a bargain, this is perhaps not the auction for you.
3. The items will be on display for inspection between 11am - 1pm on the day of the auction and throughout the auction.
4. Before you place a bid, please be aware that should you win the item, you will be required to pay in full by the end of the auction. You must not bid on an item unless you have the wherewithal to complete the sale.
5. The bidder holds sole responsibility for any bid submitted, including those made in error. In the event of a tie between a bid placed by you online and any other identical bid(s) (including bids made in person at the Sale, telephone bids, absentee bids, and other internet bids), it will be at the auctioneer s discretion as to which bid shall be accepted.
6. If you choose to use the Internet Bidding service, you do so entirely at your own risk and Mary’s Meals will not take responsibility for any issues regarding internet bidding functionality or delays which may occur due to software or hardware complications.
7. It is a condition of bidding that if you win an item or an experience, that you cannot cancel the purchase post event.
8. Proof of provenance of celebrity memorabilia will be in the form of either a Certificate of Authenticity or in certain cases a note from the family of the person in question. If you wish to bid on one of these items, you must satisfy yourself in advance that you are willing to accept the relevant form of authentication that comes with the item.
9. Anyone who bids on experiences or for vouchers for items, must satisfy themselves in advance that they can use the voucher within the specified period of time before expiry, where there is an expiry date specified.
10. No buyer’s premium will be charge to the buyer at this auction. This means there will be no commission charged on the hammer price
11. For the purposes of the online auction, bidders must register with Easy Live Auction in advance and agree to their own Terms and Conditions
12. If the winner of a lot resides outside of Ireland, the proceeds of sale shall be paid in euros.
13. All costs of shipping any items abroard will need to be met by the winning bidder. The shipping costs will need to paid in advance of the item being shipped.
14. Any fragile items entered into the auction, such as china etc, will not be shipped abroad. Items sent abroad will be restricted to those items which are not easily damaged in transit. Before bidding on an item of interest from abroad, bidders should satisfy themselves that the item in question is suitable for dispatch by post.
