All Lots are sold as seen. It is assumed and accepted that Buyers have viewed Lots and/or photographs of them and satisfied themselves as to age, condition and authenticity. Please speak to a member of staff for any advice.
No warranty or guarantees are given.
All descriptions are as accurate as possible and where there is a fault, we will endeavour to notify of this with ‘as found’ in the description. Viewing for online auction lots can be viewed at Brilliant Auctions strictly by appointment, as well as online. All electrical items whether shown as working or not are ‘Sold as Scrap’ and we highly recommend that they are checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Information for Sellers
Sellers will be required to complete a seller’s declaration form, confirming the items to be sold are either owned by them, or are to be sold by the owners. All items entered are at the seller’s own risk and Brilliant Auctions are not responsible for any items whilst in their possession. The seller will be paid via bank transfer within 4 working weeks of the sale, subject to the buyer having paid for the Lot. Unsold items must be collected within 5 days of the end of the sale unless otherwise agreed, or a storage charge will be incurred. Sellers will be charged a £5.00 per lot Lotting fee (sold or un-sold) plus 15% (+VAT) of the hammer price.
Information for Buyers
All Lots are sold subject to a Buyer’s Premium of 24% inclusive of VAT on the hammer price. Packaging, packing and postage will be added to the invoice for payment where relevant.
Terms of Payment
Full payment (including any shipping charges) is requested on completion of the auction. Payment methods are credit/debit cards or bank transfer.
Online Bidding Fee
We offer an online bidding service via easyliveauction.com for bidders who cannot attend the sale.
Please note that any lots purchased via easyliveauction.com live auction service will be subject to an additional 3% commission charge + VAT at the rate imposed on the hammer price, or no commission for the internet bidding if the ‘Flat Fee’ has been chosen at registration.
