Best Model Toys are specialist auctioneers for collectable models and toys.
We hold monthly on-line only auctions, usually featuring model railway, die-cast vehicles, Lego and dolls/figures.

We offer low commission rates for vendors; free collection and valuations. We spend time providing detailed descriptions, photographs and grading each lot. We’ve even been known to dust items to display them at their best and build Lego sets to check for completeness (and fun).

For ‘Bidders’ we aim to take the uncertainty out of buying at auction.
Along with clear descriptions, grading and photos, we test model railway locomotives, if they have previously been removed from their original packaging. We specify the weight of the lot, so you can calculate the shipping charges. Your winning lots are sent within 7 days of payment, with up to £1000 insurance cover and parcel tracking via DPD.

To help Bidders with their pre-sale analysis, you can download the sale catalogue in CSV format from our website.

The pace of the auction is approximately 50/60 items per hour. We commence our sales at 10am, pausing for a twenty minute lunch at 1pm.

We hope you enjoy the sale and are successful with your wish-list.

Buyers premium: A Buyers Premium is added to the purchase ‘hammer’ price.
If you pay a ‘Flat fee’ at registration with, then the Buyers Premium is 26.4% including vat.

Otherwise if you choose 'Free Registration' … The Buyers Premium is 30% including vat

We do not accept bids in the room or via telephone. You may register a ‘Commission Bid’ via the form on our contact page on our website, up to 24 hours prior to the sale.
